Ben was once touted as one of Australias brightest talents and raced extremely competitively over three continents scooping up multiple national and international championships. The 1999 Australian Formula One programme listed Ben as “The next most likely” of Australian drivers to be seen on an F1 grid.

At the pinnacle of Ben’s career after winning the F.I.A International Asian Drivers Championship, he was called into what was, at the time, the best F3 team in the world, T.O.M.S Toyota to compete in the Japanese F3 Championship. During a test session at Mt Fuji Raceway, Ben’s car suffered a component failure which resulted in huge accident. This caused injuries which effectively ended Ben’s professional career at the time.

Ben returned to motorsport in 2016 immediately showing he had lost no competitiveness at all, completely dominating some rounds of the ARC in a fashion that has not been seen in the history of the category.

Ben is currently competing in the third year of the Australian SuperUtes Series driving the #8 Western Sydney Motorsport Hilux with Sieders Racing Team.
