MICHAEL JORDAN

Michael Jordan is an American businessman and former professional basketball player. He played 15 seasons in National Basketball Association, winning 6 NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.

Jordan was the highest paid NBA player for two seasons, his total career salary totaled $90m, although his earnings have reached $2.4 billion (pre-tax) from corporate partners such as Nike, Hanes and Gatorade.

Jordan was the principal owner and chairman of the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA although later sold his majority stake in 2023, a deal that valued the NBA Franchise at $3 billion.

His biography on the official NBA website states “By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time.” Jordan won his first NBA title with the Bulls in 1991. He created a record 72 regular season wins in the 95-96 NBA season.

Michael Jordan scored 246 points or 41.0 points per game in the 6-game 1993 NBA Finals, with only one other player achieving more than 40 points per game for a 6-game finals series- Elgin Baylor scoring 284 points or 47.3 PPG in the 61/62 season. He is the third of all time, Jerry West

In 2020, Jordan joined DraftKings sports betting agency as an advisor and investor, the same year he became a NASCAR owner.
