The Clinton-Lewinsky Scandal News of the scandal first broke on Jan 17, 1998 on the Drudge Report. On Jan 26 Clinton stood with his wife and made a speech issuing denial.

The Clinton-Lewinsky sex scandal involved then U.S President Bill Clinton and 24-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky during 1998.

The relationship between the two lasted two years from 95 to 97. Clinton denied it, by ending a televised speech in Jan 98 by saying he “did not have sexual relations wit that woman, Ms. Lewinsky”.

Further investigation led to charges of perjury and the impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1998.
